Indoctrination

Radio Commentary, 90.7, 91.7 New Life FM, September 5, 2014 – By Sue Ella Deadwyler

Have you considered how we got from where we were morally to where we are now? If not, let me give you a clue. Compare the 180 days children must spend in school to the time spent one-on-one with parents and it’s a no-brainer. Unless students are enrolled in schools that protect and teach the family religion, students are indoctrinated with a God-less agenda in school.

When religious freedom blocked their move to take over school curricula, educrats invented the false notion of “separation of church and state,” and kept pushing their agenda on vulnerable students. That agenda has been and is being fleshed-out, incrementally, through resolutions National Education Association (NEA) union members pass annually in their July conference.

This year, a major focus of NEA is furthering student indoctrination about alternate lifestyles. New Business Item 51 says the “NEA will, using electronic resources, publish a list of Pre-K – Graduate School recommended books … that have LGBTQ and gender non-conforming themes.” Meaning, NEA union members will publish a book list teachers can use to promote lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQQ) lifestyles and expose classroom students to the most radical sexual orientation organizations in the world. New Business Item 48 promotes the “Respect For All Project” in every classroom, claiming films in the project engage students in “life-changing discussions” about gender, culture, and sexuality; family diversity; and LGBT-inclusion on an on-going basis, at the earliest age possible. Note that their goal is to generate “life-changing discussions” about gender (sexual behavior), family diversity (varied couplings) as early as possible (daycare, pre-k) to counteract early childhood learning at home and church.

New Business Item 52 was passed to influence state and local educational institutions to help educators become part of a global learning community which aims to promote the full inclusion of people who are disadvantaged because of their sexual orientation.

These and other NEA resolutions welcome into public schools the Global Alliance for LGBT Education (GALE) with its focus on “education about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues through workbooks, teacher manuals, videos, CDs and posters. Global education would not reflect the centuries-old moral standards of the United States. Another NEA favorite for classrooms is the Gay Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN) that says “homophobia and heterosexism undermine a healthy school climate.” So, NEA is willing to sacrifice students’ mental and physical health to impose their definition of “a healthy school climate” that promotes homosexuality. Who pays the price? Students, families, taxpayers and the culture!
