1976: NEA Declares Support for the New World Order

Good morning, Jim. Every year over the Fourth of July holiday, we celebrate Independence Day to honor the 1776 adoption of the Declaration of Independence. But 200 years later in 1976 the National Education Association made an about-face and endorsed Dr. Henry Commanger’s Declaration of Interdependence, which states, “Two centuries ago our forefathers brought forth a new nation; now we must join with others to bring forth a new world order.”

On that day the NEA openly declared allegiance to a new-world order that would replace U.S. sovereignty, national autonomy and usher in a global community with NO national borders, NO national patriotism and NO national government. A world order so powerful it could absorb nations, control their citizens, confiscate individual wealth, distribute it to others, and commandeer the world’s natural resources on land and sea.

That’s what the NEA did in 1976 and, this year while we went to Fourth-of-July parades and proudly waved the American flag, the NEA held its annual conference in Chicago. The 7,321 delegates endorsed President Obama for re-election and their Political Action Committee announced it would spend up to $60 million to give him four more years in the White House.

At that conference, the NEA labor union presented its annual “Friend of Education” award to the 14 Wisconsin Democrat state senators who left the state for three weeks to block legislation limiting bargaining rights of state employees, including NEA’s public school teachers.

This year NEA passed Resolution B-24 to support financial aid, in-state tuition, and U.S. citizenship for illegal aliens who live in this country at least five years before they graduate high school. B-24 shows NEA’s continued support for a new world order, where national borders mean nothing and personal wealth can be confiscated to benefit illegal aliens. The first President Bush expected a “new world order” to rise soon after September 11, 1990, when he said to Congress: “our fifth objective – a new world order – can emerge” after the Persian Gulf war. It didn’t happen openly then, but today, we’re creeping toward a full-fledged new world order that will absorb the United States and change life as we know it.
